LAWS and BLG have launched a brand new mentoring program specifically for undergraduate students on their path to law school.  Each year fifteen students will be mentored by BLG lawyers while developing their skills, networks and potential for growth. Through this partnership, BLG joins a list of law firms who are championing diversity and inclusion through LAWS mentorship, including Blakes, Torys, Fasken, Dentons, BMO Financial Group and Cassels.

Angela Sordi, Director of Professional Recruitment at BLG commented, “Since it’s inception, LAWS has been making an incredible contribution to the learning and development of young students.  Because of LAWS, the idea of “becoming a lawyer” has become a real and attainable career for many talented individuals who may not have thought of pursuing law school in the first place! It is with great pride that BLG is able to provide mentorship and support to such an exceptional program.  Our junior associates have fully embraced the opportunity to be a Mentor and offer guidance, insight and friendship to this first group of bright and dedicated undergraduate students.”
